Meistersinger Honor Choir 2025
The Meistersinger Honor Choir Festival will take place at Wartburg College January 26-27, 2025. This event is designed to bring together the finest singers from high schools across the region to collaborate with world-class artists and perform their music with the highest level of artistry. Composer and conductor Dr. Marques L.A. Garrett will be this year’s artist-in-residence, and his music will be featured at the festival.
The Meistersinger festival is comprised of two choirs: the Meistersinger Mixed Honor Choir under the direction of Dr. Lee Nelson, and the Meistersinger Treble Honor Choir under the direction of Dr. Nicki Toliver.
Please note: Dr. Garrett’s composition “An Earth Song” for the treble choir must be purchased directly from him. Ordering instructions for this will be communicated by Wartburg College upon registration.
