Jazz Conception (Trumpet)(Book w/CD)

Jim Snidero's Jazz Conception books are an innovative series used worldwide. These books are designed to help develop jazz phrasing, interpretation, and improvisation skills at all ability levels. Each book includes a play-along CD, allowing the instrumentalist to play with some of today's finest jazz recording artists (including Mike LeDonne, Dennis Irwin, Kenny Washington, and Dave Hazeltine). The Jazz Conception books are available in three levels for practically every instrument, making them ideal for classroom instruction, private lessons, or self-study. The "original" Jazz Conception books are at the medium advanced-advanced level. They feature 21 solo etudes based on chord changes to standard jazz and blues tunes.
