Standard of Excellence Enhanced Book 1, Flute

Standard of Excellence (SOE) is one of the most complete and most widely used band methods available. It combines music theory, music history, ear training, and multi-cultural studies with a strong performance-centered approach to learning. Each student book features colorful highlighted sections when a new fingering, rhythm, or musical concept is introduced, making these new skills visually stimulating. The student books also include:

The Enhanced version of SOE contains access to updated software so each student book will have access to Kjos’ Interactive Practice Studio (IPS) software. IPS provides online access to a virtual book along with recordings.
