The Blue Book - Volume 2
James Campbell and his former students are back at it with a second volume of The Blue Book. Forty-eight authors (including Mr. Campbell himself) have contributed a total of 56 individual pieces to this compilation of drumset, multi-percussion, snare drum, and marching tenor solos. Much like its predecessor, these solos are perfectly suited for contests, auditions, technique development, recitals, juries, or just for your drumming enjoyment!
Both volumes of The Blue Book represent several generations of University of Kentucky students and alumni, all of whom have enjoyed successful careers as teachers, performers, and composers. They represent their alma mater dutifully in this eclectic collection of percussion solos!
Two of the pieces in this product contain optional audio backing tracks. They may be downloaded free from the publisher's Supplemental Downloads page.
