Did you know your new Bass Metallophone comes with a damper bar that must be installed for proper bar seating and tone. The damper bar fits on the playing side of the instrument, with low C on your left. No tools are necessary. Using the hardware included with your BM 2000, hand screw the L-bracket in the pre-drilled holes as shown. The damper bar slides onto the bracket with the grey rubber strip facing UP! Description
Series 2000 instruments offer the highest quality sound and craftsmanship. These instruments satisfy the highest musical standards and are excellent for use in music and grade schools. All instruments have solid wood resonance boxes and handles for easy transportation. The handles also serve as supports for the stands. Adjusting the instruments on the stands is easy. Instruments can be changed with only the turn of a screw, allowing uninterrupted instruction. For maximum volume, the alto and bass instruments include several proportioned resonance chambers and sound-reinforcing lips on the dividers. The Series 2000 Metallophone bars consist of special profiled, high-quality aluminum. This contributes to the exceptionally balanced and warm sound.
