Yamaha’s 400 series TERRAMAC recorders use an innovative plant based material to create more eco-friendly instruments.

While this recorder uses the same basic design as Yamahas most popular recorders, the TERRAMAC material has a higher density, creating a richer tone, improved breath resistance and response.

TERRAMAC replaces a portion of the oil-based materials typically used in plastic recorders. This three-piece YRS-402B Soprano recorder is designed with Baroque fingering and an arched windway.
