Great gathering drum
I ordered this BIG gathering drum for the elementary school, K-5th graders where I taught general music. The kindergarten classes LOVED it! Not only could they feel the beat, we watched each other as we played, "Can you catch the beat", sort of like a wave at the ballpark. We also used it to see how many of each grade could sit around it, and then graphed it (reinforcing math skills): 21 kindergarteners was the winning classroom. Super for assemblies, too, or adding extra students to an already full drumline!
