5 jazzy tunes emphasizing B-A-G for recorders and all C instruments, including Boomwhackers. The teacher kit includes a book and a CD with live recorders. The CD features demonstration tracks with Part 1 (melody) played by soprano recorder first and then joined by the tenor recorder on the repeat; Part 2 (harmony) is played by soprano and alto recorders on the repeat. Demonstration tracks feature complete performances with recorders, accompaniment, Orff and percussion instruments and easy solo examples; the performance tracks have the same instruments only without the recorder melody line or recorded solos. The CD also includes brief interactive lessons (spoken word, no visuals) covering recorder playing basics, articulation, form, solfege and more.

Permission is given to copy the printed materials for use with students in one school (teachers who teach at multiple schools need to purchase a book for each school).

Instruments used: 2 parts for soprano recorder or any C instrument; alto and tenor recorders; soprano glockenspiel; bass xylophone; contra bass bars; bass Boomwhackers with Octavator tube caps; bass guitar.
