Canons of Peace and Hope

"Canons of Peace and Hope" is a superb collection of 14 original canons by different composers, collected and edited by Liz Keefe. These songs are written with the hope of strengthening peace in our hearts and in the world as they are sung with students and friends. Each song includes words and a melody line, along with background notes about each composer, quotations from famous figures in history (such as Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr., and Abraham Lincoln), and general suggestions for performance. Songs in foreign languages include an English translation, but not always a pronunciation guide.
