Canta, mariachi, canta!

General music classes can experience authentic mariachi styles and rhythms with this resource of eight traditional Mexican songs. Arrangements are written by respected mariachi composer and performer José Hernández and work well with guitar or piano accompaniment. Optional parts are given for barred Orff instruments.

The teacher edition has vocal parts with Spanish lyrics, pronunciation guides, piano and guitar accompaniment, Orff instrument parts, and brief song translations and history. The book includes online access to authentic recordings produced by Maestro Hernández and performed on traditional mariachi instruments. Online access to PDFs of singer and instrument parts is included.
