This is a great song collection to teach young beginners to sing and strum on the guitar.  The collection includes 25 folk songs with a performance/accompaniment CD, digital resources, and links to YouTube videos of easy pop songs. The Teacher's Guide includes introduction to guitar, music, lyrics, chords, and chord charts. The first fifteen songs use only the tonic chord. Em, D, A, C, G, and E are the chords used. This gives the student a sense of playing the song while developing good chord formation, but they will not have to change chords. The CD has a PowerPoint to project for every song. The audio is linked. The kit also includes 25 Student Books.
