Encore EKG4 Monkey Roller Gong Mallet

The Encore KG4 Monkey Roller Gong Mallet is a latex wrapped pucks covered with thick wool yarn for a deep tam-tam or gong sound.
The King Gong Series represents the highest levels of handcraftsmanship in the mallet making industry. KG mallets feature hand-stained birch shafts, hand-glued hard rubber inner cores, hand wrapped latex outer cores, and thick layers of hand wrapped wool yarn. The latex between the inner core and the yarn of a KG mallet provides an extra layer of cushion that takes the edge off of high volume impacts and facilitates the sounding of the gong's fundamental. Available in four levels of hardness, KG mallets allow for artistic articulation and musical expression at all dynamic levels.
