Essential Technique for Strings (sometimes referred to as Essential Elements for Strings Book 3) logically follows the first two volumes of the Essential Elements for Strings methods. This book continues the development of the advancing intermediate-level player with exercises for higher positions and shifting, scales, bowings, vibrato, and special techniques. This book also includes exercises in 7 major and 5 minor keys, music theory, music history, sight reading, and rhythm drills.
