Essential Elements for Strings Book 2 begins with a review of Book 1. Book 2 further develops performance skills with exercises in new keys, additional rhythmic exercises, and more advanced finger positions. Essential Elements (EE) features familiar tunes, warm-ups, and rhythm exercises created and arranged for a group learning setting. Specific exercises are included for each instrument, to show each student the unique characteristics of their instrument.

The Essential Elements series also includes basic music theory and music history examples and gives you access to Essential Elements Interactive (EEi), the ultimate online music education resource that works on any device that can connect to the internet.
