"Exploring Orff" Teacher's guide for developing a curriculum and lessons that address children's needs and include improvisation and musical experimentation opportunities. This guide shows how to form a curriculum that addresses students' needs; how to choose the best materials for lessons from the abundant materials available; how to plan lessons that have a clear focus and are also open to frequent student contributions.

The curriculum outline presented is to be viewed as a flexible tool that will help us respond to the changing characteristics of classrooms and schools. The outline may also be used as a reference to connect it and the materials that follow a curriculum you are already using. The second part of the book outlines a flexible curriculum for each grade, with lesson suggestions for each objective.
