First Steps in Music: In Action (DVD)

Using two general music classrooms of 6-year-old students as examples, the "First Steps in Music: In Action"DVD highlights how to implement the First Steps in Music curriculum and activities. On this DVD, master teacher Lillie Feierabend demonstrates the curriculum, along with a wide variety of activities and teaching techniques. Also included on the DVD is a voice-over track from John and Lillie Feierabend that offers insights into the who, what, when, where, and why of the activities. Finally, this DVD includes an interview with Dr. John Feierabend discussing the philosophy and pedagogy of the First Steps in Music method.
