First Steps in Music Vocal Development Kit

For over 20 years John Feierabend has been a leader in helping young children develop their singing voices.

With this kit, teachers can now use many of his favorite tools and techniques with their own students. The kit includes puppets, toys, and instruments designed to help with two types of vocal development activities.

"Pitch Exploration Activities" invite children to create sliding sounds and encourage them to use their head voices. "Echo Songs" and "Call and Response Songs" allow children to use their newly found head voices to sing short melodic phrases. The included manual contains a variety of activity ideas, as well as a few songs to practice concepts.   

The kit includes a beanbag, siren whistle, cow puppet, propeller on a stick, slide whistle, 2 stuffed toy whales, plastic eyes, yarn, tuning fork, 2 ghost puppets, pipe cleaners, 21-page instruction booklet and a convenient storage tote.
