15 simple songs with coordinated movement activities. Research in the last few years has made it clear that children have multiple ways of learning and need multiple ways to express themselves. The songs in this book will help spark children's creativity through movement. The songs are simple and easy to teach and extended instrumental versions of many of the selections are included on the performance/accompaniment CD for continued "game playing."

Each song has suggestions for transition use, ways to help students improve sensory awareness or spatial orientation or improvisation skills or self-confidence. Where appropriate, there are notes on the country of origin for;a particular music style used. Reproducible worksheets are included. Melodies are notated with lyrics.
