Janet Day’s "In the B-A-G"is a motivating collection of BAG songs for recorders accompanied by classroom instruments and piano.

Using the first three notes typically taught in recorder methods, a wide variety of musical styles incorporated from swing to salsa, reggae to rock and roll, and Latin to rap.

The online materials include both performance and accompaniment recordings, age-appropriate recorder parts, plus PDFs of the printed recorder parts for overhead projection. Flexibility is created by using the reproducible accompanying parts included for Orff and percussion instruments and piano.
