The Innovative Percussion Jim Casella IP1008 Medium Dark Small Xylophone Mallets feature rattan handles and a soft plastic core to produce a full, dark tone with maximum projection. The IP1007 features an over-sized core, while the IP1008 features a smaller core with added weight, for better control. Both models produce a similar timbre. These mallets have been designed to meet the demands of both the indoor and outdoor marching percussion ensemble.
