Intermediate Repertoire, Level 3

The Bastien Intermediate Piano Course is a comprehensive piano series well suited for “later” beginners, or any student who has reached the intermediate level. This course is divided into three levels with four books in each level: Intermediate Repertoire, Intermediate Theory, Intermediate Technic, and Intermediate Multi-Key Solos.

• Intermediate Repertoire includes solos from master composers as well as original Bastien compositions in the style of great composers from the Baroque through 20^th Century.
• Intermediate Theory contains scale, chord, and key signature exercises.
• Intermediate Technic includes exercises and etudes for improving technical facility by standard composers.
• Intermediate Multi-Key Solos provides a variety of original Bastien compositions written in a variety of keys so that the student is encouraged to play in what might be deemed “difficult” keys.
