Jazz Cats Recorder

This collection of beginning jazz music for the soprano recorder comes with downloadable accompaniment tracks.

The six jazzy pieces for soprano recorder begin with simple BAG pieces and progress to a jazz scale. Each song focuses on a different style of jazz from Dixieland to contemporary and each has a section for improvising.

The downloadable album includes two versions of each track - one with recorder and one without.

Downloadable PowerPoint files are also included.

Additional note choices are provided for more advanced students. The songs and advanced soloing scales can be applied to all barred Orff instruments.
