Join the Rhythm Band Wagon

Join the Rhythm Band Wagon CD and guide is a resource to teach children to play rhythm instruments through reading symbols on charts and listening to recorded music. Children are introduced to the musical concepts of the measure, the time signature, beats, quarter and eighth notes, and more.

12 original pieces are recorded at a slow tempo with piano and instruments, and also at a faster tempo with the piano accompaniment only. The 4-page teacher's guide explains the symbols used and how to use the charts, gives brief directions for how to play each instrument, lists instruments needed, and gives teaching suggestions. An 8.5" x 11" paper chart for each song is included, as well as a reproducible introductory chart to help children learn the symbols used.
