The Mike Balter Shadow Series 222BB Medium Hard Marimba Mallets are great for the middle to the top of the marimba. These mallets are clear by nature of the cord but still enough weight to produce a full sound.
These extremely well balanced mallets were developed expressly for the concert marimba soloist. The black cord wound oval-shaped head on a long Black Birch Handles produces an articulate, detailed sound at all dynamic levels.
