Music Styles Bingo

Hands-on activities designed to help students identify, describe, and compare 24 different styles of music from folk to classical, heavy metal to new age, and lots more in between. While having fun playing the game, students will collaborate to learn the origins of music styles, investigate cultural and historic influences, discover how music styles evolve, and make meaningful connections among different styles of music.

In addition to the traditional Bingo game, it also includes a variety of alternate games: Music Styles Web, Music Styles Recall, and Music Styles Assessment. Includes 30 player cards, 4 reproducible Sound Sequence cards, Educator's Guide (with descriptions of the 24 styles), 1 reproducible Music Styles Map page, and access to online audio recordings of musical styles excerpts (4 Sound Sequences of 24 music styles each - each sequence is approx. 10 minutes long).
