Playing Soprano Recorder can be used by beginning soprano recorder players in both group and individual instruction situations. Musical selections cover a wide variety of styles and periods. Breath marks are included. Seventeen exercises are in the Technique Time section at the end of the book. These can be used at the discretion of the teacher for the entire class or for those students who want to build a more solid technical backgournd. Appropriate times to introduce the exercises are listed throughout the book. Some pieces are for 2 recorders. A fingering chart for Soprano and Alto Recorder - English (Baroque) Fingerings - is also included.
