Sabian HH 11723B 17" Suspended Cymbal Brilliant

The Sabian HH series Suspended Cymbals are hand hammered from Sabian B20 bronze.  They are a popular choice with professional and collegiate ensembles, as well as discriminating high schools.

The HH design delivers quick responses with a rich, warm tone. 17" HH Suspended Cymbals work well in band and orchestral compositions that do not require a great deal of volume. They are ideal when dark sounds and shimmering sustains are desired.

HH Suspended Cymbals produce a dark sound that blossoms reasonably soon after it's played, but not as quickly as HHX and Artisan. 

The main difference between a suspended cymbal and a crash cymbal is the longer sustain in a suspended cymbal.  Therefore, 15" through 18" suspended cymbals are an economical choice because they have the versatility to be used as crash cymbals.
