Sound Sight Reading for Concert Band Book 1, Bass Clarinet

“Sound Sight-Reading” is an innovative series for concert band that focuses on tools students need to read and perform music at sight. The exercises are arranged progressively into six different levels, and all levels train students to observe critical musical elements such as key signature, time signature, tempo, and other expression markings, accidentals, rhythms, and musical signs. This goal-oriented series aims to help bands of all levels achieve improved scores at festivals and spend less rehearsal time learning notes and more time practicing expression, phrasing, and balance.
