"Sourwood Mountain"by Philip Tacka and Susan Taylor-Howell is part of the Kodaly Choral Method series that promotes a thorough understanding of intervals and tonality by combining a wide range of folk music and poetry. "Sourwood Mountain"contains 28 North American and English songs arranged by Kodaly teachers for two voices. Arrangements are by members of OAKE (Organization of American Kodaly Educators) and include vocal lines and lyrics only (no piano or guitar chords).
