The Recorder Resource Kit, Teacher's Guide Book w/Digital Resources

"The Recorder Resource Kit" is a highly successful first-year soprano recorder program. The program includes 38 songs, sequenced so that students become successful sight-readers and recorder players. Beginning with 'B,' notes are introduced one at a time with songs and exercises to practice each new note. Listening activities, games, note reading exercises, quizzes, care tips, and performance and accompaniment tracks are included with the online resources.

Five PowerPoints are included:

• All the songs and composer biographies (All the music is reformatted to fit the screen. MP3 accompaniments are included.)
• Theory - 1 The mad minutes and answer keys.
• Theory - 2 Recorder theory quiz.
• Theory - 3 All About the Recorder, How to Name Notes, Counting Music, How to Care for the Recorder
• All the songs are given using Kids Notes notation (all re-formatted to fit the screen).

The PowerPoints are indexed so you can quickly jump to any song that you want to practice or to any theory worksheet. The audio accompaniment tracks are included in the song PowerPoints.
