Faxx 7B Helleberg Tuba Mouthpiece Kit
The 7B tuba mouthpiece produces a brighter tone with a lot of volume. The Helleberg model is named after Danish immigrant August "Gus" Helleberg Sr., the principal tuba player in the John Philip Sousa Band from 1898 to 1903. Also, playing with the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, he was said to be the greatest player that ever blew breath into a tuba, according to his contemporary critics. Both of his sons, August Jr. and John, went on to also play tuba in the Sousa Band. Kit includes a mouthpiece, mouthpiece brush, and vinyl mouthpiece pouch.
