Three Rocking Crocs

This is a collection of eight traditional and new stories. Each contains a song, a rap or a chant, and is followed by musical activities in performance, listening and composition. Each story contains inherent musical elements. For example, in Rapunzel, the letting down and climbing of her hair is represented by a falling and rising musical scale. The stories have been chosen with musical features like these in mind and each is followed by clear instructions which show you how to build the story into your music lessons. A musical game and 2 activities, one short and one longer, are suggested for each story. All have a purpose linked to the story they accompany.
